Machapuchare: Limited Fine Art Giclée Print

$50.00

Named Machapuchare ("Fishtail Tail Mountain"), this iconic peak is situated in north-central Nepal as part of the Annapurna massif. The original artwork took over a year to create (due to long break periods) and was hand-drawn from a photograph captured while trekking the Annapurna circuit. Many hours went into replicating the fine freckles of this mountain's face through a technique called stippling, or pointillism. There may have been attempts to climb Machapuchare, but ascents are not allowed. It remains a protected, pristine piece of Earth.
